UL and SGS ISO9000:2000 Certification

Simply put, ISO9000 is a foundation for running a business well and JSI takes pride in carrying both a UL and SGS registered ISO9000:2000 certification. ISO 9000 certification demonstrates the capability of an organization to control the processes that ensure their products and services will meet their customers' requirements each and every time. In a global market, this initiative is quickly becoming a requirement for companies who expect to compete internationally.

TAPA Class A Certified

TAPA Class A Certified

Many strategically located JSI distribution centers are Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Class A certified. TAPA is regarded worldwide as the premier architect of guidelines for practical security and safety methodology by granting certification to logistics facilities satisfying its TAPA Freight Security Requirements (FSR). Clients, especially those in high-tech industries, have come to demand that the transport companies they use meet TAPA standards.

C-TPAT Certification

C-TPAT Certification

JSI led the way in qualifying for and carrying a fully validated Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) certification. C-TPAT is a voluntary program established by the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) open to all sectors of the supply chain industry. It was established to build cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve international Supply chain and U.S. border security. As one of the first companies to obtain a fully validated C-TPAT certification, JSI demonstrates its forward thinking and well refined internal processes, as well as how the facilities that it employs from various partners around the world, are safe, secure and compliant.

Certified Cargo Screening Facility

Certified Cargo Screening Facility

The tragedies of September 11, 2001 provoked a series of dramatic changes in how air transportation security is handled. As part of these major changes, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will begin to implement a congressional mandate to have all cargo being carried on passenger planes in the U.S. be screened for explosives by all air carriers and freight forwarders including manufacturers, possible third party screeners and others. This mandate requires that TSA develops a system to screen 100% of cargo by August 3, 2010 with an interim requirement to screen 50% of such cargo by February 3, 2009.

Thus, TSA created the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP) to enable the trade industry to achieve the 100% screening mandate. The CCSP authorizes facilities to become certified cargo screening facilities (CCSFs) once they have been vetted, validated, and TSA-certified to screen air cargo.

The Certified Cargo Screening Facility program ("CCSF") is a voluntary program that allows certified manufacturers, exporters and forwarders to screen air cargo before it is shipped. At our major gateways in the U.S.A., JSI is fully TSA certified as a CCSF, utilizing the latest cargo screening technology. Under this program, we will be able to screen our customers' cargo on our own expedited schedule and bypassing the possible delays at the airlines and potential damage from invasive screening by the airlines or third parties who are less equipped to handle sensitive products.

IATA

IATA

As an International Air Transport Association (IATA) agent for all major airlines (both domestic and international), we provide a complete package of air logistics services through our global network of experienced professionals and state of the art tracking technology.

IATA accreditation in the air freight industry is vital because it shows recognition of a company's financial and professional competence. The relationship between Member airlines and their registered Cargo Agents is also administered under a set of IATA Resolutions that are government-approved rules, procedures and requirements for companies who wish to obtain and to maintain industry accreditation.
