Position Summary

This position reports directly to the U.S. Compliance Manager. Supports the Compliance Department in various activities and in accordance with JSI’s guiding principles and core values

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Support and assist U.S. Compliance Manager in achieving the identified compliance objectives
  • Assist and support the development of work instructions and procedures related to Global Compliance
  • Assist and support the review and update of existing work instructions and procedures
  • Assist and support in the gathering of training materials and during training sessions
  • Engage with operations and various team members with matters related to compliance
  • Works on data gathering and reporting of compliance metrics
  • Review and analyze metrics data to identify potential areas of compliance risk
  • Support and follow up corrective actions put in place to minimize compliance risk
  • Assist on compliance audits and actions taken based on the results of the audit
    Other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience with trade compliance preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to read, analyze and gather data
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to be self-sufficient and work independently
  • PC literate
  • Strong proficiency in Google Documents, Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
